Mix and sift:

4 Cups Flour

1 Cup Sugar

1 tsp Baking Powder

1/2 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp Baking Soda

Beat 1 Egg and add to

1 Cup Sour Cream.

Mix in the flour mixture and knead lightly.
Turn out onto floured board, roll out and cut with doughnut cutter.
Fry in deep hot fat.
Drain on unglazed paper.

NOTE: This was another handwritten recipe. Maybe even my great grandma's.
